On your special day I will make sure you look and feel your absolute best.

On the big day you’re going to be excited and a bit nervous, so applying make-up and styling hair is only part of my job. With beautiful hair and makeup . . either natural, glamorous or somewhere in between . . . everyone can feel confident and gorgeous. Making sure that you are ready on time and helping you to stay relaxed and calm is all part of my day. I’ll make sure everything runs smoothly on the day so you can be sure both you and your bridal party will be ready in plenty of time.

Here are some of the most popular questions – the ones I get asked most often. If you have others just give me a call or drop me a line

What do you charge?

The costs can vary depending on the distance I need to travel for your trial and the big day and the number of people that you wish me to work with. Quite often I do the make up for the mothers and bridesmaids too. Its one of the most relaxing ways of preparing for the wedding and often helps everyone feel calm and prepared knowing that they look their absolute best. Just give me a call or drop me a line and I will give you a precise and individual charge for the event

I have sensitive skin - is that a problem?

If you have sensitive skin and/or you have any favourite products… just let me know. I use a number of tried and tested professional and commercial products are used… MAC, Benefit, Cosmetics a la Carte, Yves St Laurent, Laura Mercier, Clinique…

How can I secure my wedding date in your diary?

Just call or complete my enquiry form and I will check my diary and come straight back to you. A deposit of £75 is required in order to secure the booking of both the trial and the wedding day, this amount is then deducted against the final balance.

How long does a trial take-what if im not happy

Theres no hurry, we can take as long as you like to get your “look” just the way you want it. You are not committed to your booking before you have your trial run. Allow about an hour to two hours and longer if theres a few people in the party You only pay a deposit if you’re 100% happy with my work.

Where does the trial take place?

I offer a mobile service so I can visit you in the comfort of your home to do your haire and makeup trial, this is especially popular for those who like to have friends or relatives there as it makes it easy for you to arrange. I often end up looking after the hair and makeup for the bridesmaids and mothers too! Believe me you can tell the difference in the photos. On the occasion where it is not convenient for us to visit you at home we can look to arrange an alternative venue for your trial.

How long before my wedding should I have my trial run?

Actually theres no set date but it makes sense to have your trial run once your dress decision has been finalised and possibly that of your bridesmaids too. Some Brides ask for a trial run up to a year in advance just to get things ticked off the list but 2-3 months is not unusual at all.

What if I need to re-touch my lipstick or makeup during the day?

When we meet to do the trial I recommend products that you may like to have in your bag just for those little after dinner touches to ensure you stay radiant and lovely all evening.

What should I have ready for my to the weddng hair trial?

To get the most out of your trial, you may find it useful to start thinking about the type of make up or hair style you would like, taking into consideration your wedding dress and colours or theme. If you are unsure or do not have any ideas about what you may like, then try looking through magazines and on the internet for inspiration and tear off or print out anything that catches your eye. Having examples of what you do like is a fantastic starting point for us to build on or adapt and there are even some ideas on my website – just look in the ‘inspiration’ page.

If you have more questions then do let me know and I will try to help as much as I can. I will add the really good questions to my site too!
